What do you know?  My dog likes cashews!  No way I will feed him any.  But, since I've switched to halves-and-pieces, it is common that parts of cashews leap from my fingers in desperate attempts to flee.  So, it's OK if my dog picks up any of those that might hit the floor.  Most of them are running around on a window ledge.

I was thinking it would be a good idea to walk to the library yesterday, if able. One item was overdue. So, I was well enough, and I also packed some laundry, heading off with my large serious hiker's backpack. Dropped off the books , did laundry, walked home.
